Capping off 2023 right
I haven’t been around lately, though I’ve been here. I’ve also been writing a lot. Thinking a lot. Dreaming a lot. My co-workers and I were a little stymied about how tomorrow is December First already. It went by quick. It’s going to keep going quick. And perhaps we’ll get to see the pickup in stories we certainly deserve to see.
I don’t have a lot of fanfare for this month’s challenges. In fact, I haven’t really been thinking about it at all. Other things have been occupying my mind. I wonder if I’m even going to be successful for a third year in a row. But I’m going to do it regardless. You will get an entry from me each and every single one of December’s thirty-one days, and I’ll do it in the same format I did last year: Recap what I feel are the most important news stories of the day while finding a story of my own they can relate to. It wasn’t easy to do. But I think that’s the point I’ve been looking for this year.
There’s nothing else to say here, really. I’ll just be writing again for a whole month before I crawl back into my lazy cocoon until the next time I force myself to be here. I guess in these times, we take what we can get. Something’s got to come of all these stories I release to the world. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
See you tomorrow.
